The Brisbane River winds past St Lucia allowing easy access via the CityCat (water ferries), as well as frequent bus and train services – making public transport a convenient and cost effective option for getting around.

Getting active is a breeze with squash, hockey, volleyball and a pool all on campus. A full-sized basketball / tennis court along with a fully equipped College gym is exclusively available to St Leo’s Residents.

A UQ Sport Lifestyle Passport is a great way for Residents to access (at no extra charge) the University pool, UQ’s athletics track, track and field equipment, squash and tennis courts, and various ovals around the UQ campus. .

Brisbane offers pleasant weather conditions most year round, with a long-term annual average high temperature of 26C and minimum low of 16C – giving plenty of reasons to get out and explore the area and greater Brisbane.
