Professor Rick Bigwood, Executive Dean of the School of Law, delivered the 2023 Commencement address, where Rick reflected upon his “accidental” academic pathway and the importance of education in creating opportunity. Along with other distinguished UQ guests, Kris Ryan, UQ Deputy VC Academic, and Andrea Stachan, Director of Student Services, the College celebrated the outstanding academic results of Leonians in academic year 2022. It was a wonderful occasion and an evening where St Leo’s scholars shone.
