Leonians are getting in the swim

Last Friday, March 10, was the first event of the ICC sporting calendar when the annual swimming carnival took place.

Everyone relocated to St Peter's Lutheran College in Indooroopilly due to the upgrade of the UQ Aquatic Centre pool.

We finished a very respectable third overall so well done to all members of our team and the fantastic supporters.

  • Graydon Cannavan-Forbes (200m freestyle - 2:48.86, 200m relay B - 2:12.22)
  • Finn McCauley-Wassell (50m backstroke - 33.24; 200m IM - 2:45.80; 200m medley relay B - 2:09.04; 200m relay A - 1:50.62)
  • Harry Murphy (50m breaststroke - 37.04; 200m medley relay - 2:09.04; 200m relay B - 2:12.22)
  • Daniel Niven (100m freestyle - 1:04.69; 200m relay A - 1:50.62)
  • Rhys Parker (50m butterfly - 29.73; 200m medley relay - 2:09.04; 200m relay A - 1:50.62)
  • Alex Perera (200m relay - 2:12.22 B)
  • Jeremy Walsh (50m freestyle - 26.03; 200m medley relay - 2:09.04; 200m relay A - 1:50.62)
