Rethink Program's Important Messages Attract Media Attention

March 1, 2017

On Saturday 25 February, our new first year Residents and our Student Leadership Team took part in the Rethink Program.

This important day included workshops, role playing, seminars, a movie and a panel discussion and focused on subjects such as diversity, consent, respectful relationships and the changing roles we see in society.

We partnered with Grace College on this program so that over 180 Residents participated in total.

The subject of consent is often a hot topic around universities and as we are pro-actively educating our Residents about this sometimes tricky subject, it attracted media coverage from News.com.au and Triple J's The Hack Program. You can listen to the podcast here (segment commences at 0:53).
