Recognising Outstanding Alumni
The St Leo’s College Alumni Association (SLCAA) aims to recognise and celebrate the many outstanding achievements of St Leo’s alumni.
Young Alumnus of the Year
The Young Alumnus of the Year Award will recognise alumni under the age of 35 who has demonstrated an outstanding level of professional achievement and/or community contribution since leaving St Leo’s College.
Outstanding Alumnus of the Year
The Alumnus of the Year Award will recognise alumni who have demonstrated an outstanding level of professional achievement and/or community contribution since leaving St Leo’s College and particularly in 2026.
Selection process and criteria
Nominations for the awards are encouraged from all St Leo’s Alumni.
Award recipients must excel across the following eligibility criteria:
- In alignment with the Mission and identity of the college, demonstrate an outstanding contribution to their community through positive contribution felt by many – locally, nationally and/or internationally.
- Their accomplishment(s) significantly raise their profile and standing within the broader community, and/or their profession.
- They demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities in a variety of contexts that could include volunteerism, community work, or through their profession.
- Their work and/or contribution in the community inspires action, emotion or a response in others.

Nominations open: Monday 4 May 2026
Nominations close: Friday 14 August 2026
Award recipients notified: Mid-September 2026
Awards presentation: SLCAA Annual Awards and Celebration Event, Saturday 7 November 2026.
