St Leo's College - your new home on campus

Are you ready to step up and be a mentor?

March 22, 2018

Do you remember being at Leo's? Did you have questions you wanted to ask someone a bit older, who had followed the same path as you - just a short while ago? Why not think about becoming a Leo's mentor?

Having a mentor can be a significant help in life, especially for young men. It is important that Leonians have positive role models in their lives.  That way they can seek advice from you and use you as a sounding board. It is also a great way for our Alumni to re-engage with the College and an opportunity for them to give back.

We would like to set up a mentoring program at Leo’s, with old boys or friends of the College as the mentors for our current residents. This program allows an old boy or College friend to be paired with a current resident either in the same field of study or a different one.

The relationship can be as formal or informal as you would like. Once the introduction is  made we will leave it up to you to decide how it will run. It could be a once a month coffee catch up or just an email thread. Maybe you live in one of Queensland regional towns. We might have Resident who wants to catch up in person each time they are home. We might have other Residents who want to meet you for a coffee once a month. You could do it on your way to work.

If we are describing you then please send an email to There will be an initial questionnaire to complete which will help us to match you with the right Resident. We will send full instructions so you know what to do.

We look forward to hearing from you.
