Yes, just contact both colleges in an email and we will do the rest.
Usually we will contact you as soon as QTAC offers you a place at university. If you take up one of our early offer places, you know you are safely in from the day you make your application.
Yes, we have students from a number of universities living at Leo’s. The transport services are excellent.
No, all meals are provided and there is no eating in rooms. There is a “Late Meals Room” which is open from 6.00am to 11.00pm with cereals, bread, fruit, spreads, coffee, tea, cordial – and ice cream! There are also hotplates, microwaves and frying pans for you to cook your own food if you are still hungry.
Yes, if you defer your university place you can defer your College place.
Yes, we have a number of Residents who, for reasons such as international exchanges, only need one semester’s accommodation.
Yes, this is possible, however it does attract an additional cost.
For first year students, check in is on the Sunday before Orientation Week starts, one week before lectures commence. For returning students it is the Sunday one day before lectures commence..
Check out is usually the day after your last assessment piece is complete, or you can stay longer by negotiation.
No, the rooms are all fully furnished. Non-furniture items such as TVs are fine.
A full list of items will be provided to you before you arrive such as a suit for formal dinners, personal items such as towels, doona and toiletries. Don’t worry – we wont let you arrive without knowing what to bring or what to expect – and that is what O Week is for – there are many other new residents like you. Before you know it you will be settled in and wondering what you were worried about!
Sorry, no pets are allowed at the College.
Yes, we have many car parks which are available at an additional cost of $225 per semester.
Yes, casual visitors are fine. We allow visitors to book in and stay overnight however this needs to be arranged ahead of their arrival.
We have a mail pick up point with daily delivery.
The costs to live at College depends on the room you choose, how long you stay and some other variables for example – if you would like a parking space as well. All of our fees are explained here.
There is cable internet to all bedrooms plus a Wi-Fi unit in every room. All common areas and the entire campus has access through Eduroam.
You get 3 meals a day for seven days a week. You can get a packed lunch or a late meal at night if you are in class or have another commitment which prevents you getting back to College at mealtimes. We also have a servery room which is open from 6.00am to 11.00pm with cereals, bread, fruit, spreads, coffee, tea, cordial, hotplates, microwaves – and ice cream! There is no reason to ever be hungry.
You can get a packed lunch or a late meal at night. Just order it and it will be there.
Yes, we have numerous scholarships for Academic, Cultural and Sporting excellence as well as Equity Bursaries for those for whom the fees are presenting a challenge.
Subject to availability, we have several guest rooms.
Yes you can – in fact many Residents use this method to pay for washing tokens and powder and some of the other items you need.
