St Leo’s College partners with UQ to offer 3 College Music Achievement Scholarships per year.  The scholarship is payable as a fee reduction for accommodation fees at St Leo’s College.

Wests Rugby Scholarship

St Leo’s College has partnered with Wests Rugby Union Football Club (Wests Bulldogs) to provide a Rugby Excellence Scholarship.  The Scholarships are valued at $4,000 per award in the form of reduced accommodation instalments across unbroken 2-year residencies commencing 2025.  Play for Wests and live at Leo’s!

GradReady 2024 Principal's Scholarship

GradReady awards one student residing at St Leo’s a GradReady GAMSAT Attendance (Comprehensive) Course annually.
The scholarship is designed for prospective medical students and provides them with comprehensive preparation for the Graduate Medical Schools Admission Test (GAMSAT).

St Leo's College Residential Scholarship

Overview - UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme

• The purpose of the UQ Residential Scholarships is to assist domestic undergraduate students experiencing financial hardship to study at The University of Queensland.

Application Process

Students wishing to apply for UQ’s Residential Scholarships should complete ONE online application form. Applications will be considered for any relevant residential scholarship(s) within the Scheme in accordance with the information provided.

• Applications are now open via UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme - Scholarships - The University of Queensland.
• Evidence of financial hardship is required as part of the application process. Relevant information regarding this supporting documentation is outlined in the application form. 
• To be considered for the major round of UQ Residential Scholarship offers in late November, complete applications (including all required supporting documentation) must be received by The University of Queensland by Friday 1 November 2024. Students are strongly encouraged to apply by this date.
• Applications received after this date and up until Wednesday 15 January 2025 will only be considered for any remaining scholarships not awarded in November as part of a second offer round in late January.

Value: $4,500 minimum/year for up to 3 years.
