This semester has been busy at the College as well as on the sporting and cultural fields.

Cultural:

We are maintaining our third position in the cultural leader board with only a few activities left to go. One Act Play is at the start of September and Dancefest is the last activity in October.

The only event which has taken place this semester is Oratory. We were represented by one of our newest Leonians, Patrick Dowling, who had already shone for Leo’s in the debating competition earlier this year.

Patrick’s oratory skills saw us achieve eighth place overall.

Sports:

Soccer

Our soccer team has had a fantastic competition this year. They finished third however if they had scored one more goal they would have won. That just tells you how close the competition was.

Basketball

In another close competition our basketballers came in second overall, only being beaten by our neighbours, St John’s.

This result puts us in fourth position in the men’s sports cup comp.
